Paige’s journey into the legal field is rooted in a powerful combination of professional experience, personal resilience, and a deep commitment to advocacy. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Adolescent Education with a concentration in English, initially planning to become a high school English teacher. However, just months into the classroom, she realized she needed more life experience before helping students navigate life’s bigger challenges. Two weeks after graduation, she enlisted in the U.S. Navy! During her time in the military, Paige went through significant personal upheaval, including an unplanned pregnancy and subsequent divorce, and ended up pursuing a new career path with her daughter in tow as a single mother!
Over the course of nearly three years of difficult divorce and custody proceedings, Paige witnessed firsthand how mental health and trauma can be misunderstood and misused in family court. These experiences revealed systemic shortcomings and inspired her to become a more effective advocate for both herself and her daughter, which led her to pursue a Master’s in Legal Studies with a concentration in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law.
After gaining administrative experience at a local university, Paige enrolled in law school. She graduated from California Western School of Law and began working as a law clerk at a family law firm. She has since joined Lass Law, where she continues to focus on family law while awaiting her bar exam results.
Part of what makes Paige such a valuable part of Lass Law is that she brings a rare and valuable blend of lived experience, legal training, and empathetic insight to her practice. She believes that, while collaboration is often difficult, it yields healthier, longer-lasting outcomes than litigation—especially when children are involved. Her mission is to guide families through life’s most challenging transitions with compassion, clarity, and an unwavering focus on the best interests of the children.
Outside of her working hours, where she commits herself to empowering families through difficult periods, she can be found with her loving wife and daughter, along with a family full of furry friends! (Her wife is a veterinarian, so that explains it all!) She knows firsthand how precious a quiet night at home with your family is, and she makes sure to squeeze in as much of that as possible, and encourages our clients to do the same! Her family first approach is exactly what makes her a perfect fit at Lass Law!
