Sofia Rupert wears many hats, as she is not only the Law Clerk for Lass Law APLC, but she is also in the final stages of finishing law school, with an anticipated graduation date in 2025 from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
Her thirst for knowledge as it relates to Family Law is evident through her membership in multiple honors societies and associations, and she even serves as the 2024 Chair of the Moot Court Honor Society. Sofia’s desire to help the community through Family Law started years ago in her undergraduate program, where she was the Director of the Women’s Law Project at the Community Legal Information Clinic. This clinic serves as the nation’s largest undergrad clinic where students are able to give free legal information to clients regarding domestic violence and restraining orders. When making the decision to pursue Family Law, Sofia herself states that it was far more than just a career, but more-so a true calling.
As part of the Lass Law APLC team, Sofia has an exceptional ability to dive into complex legal research, providing our attorneys with thoroughly researched information that helps to function as the foundation of our case in many cases. She has a true talent in taking a vast amount of information, combining that with the unique details provided by our clients, and putting that into writing, whether for memos, pleadings, or declarations. Sofia’s hands-on experience with Lass Law APLC and her ongoing education provide a strong basis for Sofia’s career in Family Law to have limitless potential, and we feel our firm is truly lucky to have Sofia as a member of our team.
